I own a Sony Ericsson K750i a few months ago (Aug – 2006) with the firmware R1CA021, based on which this note:
Top 10 Reasons on “Why not to buy a K750i”
1. The music volume is very low
2. Songs playing on the speaker are not audible unless you are at a quiet place
3. File Transfer Problems – Files get corrupted no matter what you try
4. The firmware for the phone has lesser chances of updating because its an old version phone.
5. The Screen Size is comparitively smaller than other standard phones – 6233
6. No SSL support on phone for GPRS connection. Hence no access to GMAIL.
7. No EDGE Support
8. Joystick hardens up in a couple of months as it is open to dust
9. Access to Phone memory can be only via the software.
10. USB slot on phone is not tight. A slight shake of the phone and the connection is lost.
